CARE OF BLANKETS
The blankets are all hand washable using a delicate soap such as Eucalan, no rinsing needed. (My instructors said not to use Woolite, but I don’t know why.) All you do is fill a sink with tepid water and add one capful of Eucalan. Submerge the blanket in the sink. I do not let the fringe get wet to avoid tangling. Let it soak for 10 minutes. Press the blanket to the side of the sink to get the water out, DO NOT SQUEEZE OR TWIST. Put the blanket on a flat towel and roll up to get more of the water out. Lay flat on dry towels and let dry. The blankets can also be dry cleaned, but this is the way I washed them after weaving and they turned out soft and wonderful. Eucalan can be purchased at yarn stores.
